Access
Accessibility Statement
Watch the Watchers News is intended to be usable with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, and a range of display sizes.
Effective September 3, 2026
Commitment
The site aims to provide meaningful access to public interest research for people with disabilities. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing responsibility, not a one time certification.
Current features
The site uses semantic headings, descriptive link text, keyboard focus indicators, text alternatives for meaningful images, labeled controls, responsive layouts, readable contrast, and reduced motion support. Tables and charts are accompanied by headings, labels, or nearby text that explains their purpose.
Known limitations
Some linked court records, government documents, archived news pages, scanned PDFs, videos, maps, or third party tools may not meet the same accessibility standard. Those materials are controlled by their publishers. When practical, the tracker provides a plain language summary so the core development can still be understood.
Feedback
If a part of the site is difficult to use, identify the page, feature, and barrier through the contact method by which you received access. A dedicated public accessibility address will be added before public submissions are accepted.
Ongoing review
New pages, filters, images, charts, and interactive features should be reviewed for keyboard access, focus order, text scaling, color contrast, labels, and screen reader meaning before publication.
